Field of Honor in Danbury
May 18 through June 1, 2013
This Memorial Day, in honor and in memory of our Military Veterans and those men and women actively serving our country today, the Kiwanis Club Foundation of Greater Danbury, Inc. will erect a Field of Honor at the War Memorial in Danbury. The Field of Honor will include at least 200 full size (3 foot by 5 foot) American flags and will be on display from May 18, 2013 through June 1, 2013.
Greater Danbury area residents and businesses are invited to sponsor anyone they would like to HONOR with one of these keepsake flags. Your Honoree and sponsor name will be proudly displayed on a yellow ribbon with each flag. Major sponsors will be identified on our title banner.
All proceeds support the efforts of the Kiwanis Club Foundation of Greater Danbury, Inc, 501c3 and local veteran and service groups. Plan to pick up your keepsake flag on June 1 between 8am and 9 am. Please contact Linda Thomas at Field.of.Honor.Linda@gmail.com with any questions.
